A filtered DNS for your whole phone.

EZOBLOCKER is a DNS-based content filter for iPhone and Android. It sends your phone's DNS lookups, encrypted with DNS over HTTPS, to our servers. Ads, trackers and sites in the categories you switch on are blocked there, before they load. No account needed, no query logs.

How it works

  1. 1

    Your phone asks

Every app and site starts by asking DNS where to go. EZOBLOCKER sends these lookups, encrypted, to our servers. Other traffic does not pass through us.

  2. 2

    Our servers check the lists

Each lookup is matched against the blocklists of the categories you switched on. The lists live on our servers, not on your phone.

  3. 3

    Blocked or allowed

A blocked address simply does not load. Everything else continues as usual, straight from its own server.

Nine categories. You choose.

Switch each one on or off in the app. Changes take effect in about 30 seconds.

EZOBLOCKER's own list is open source

194,214 domains we found ourselves that public lists don't have yet.

We publish them on GitHub under CC0, so anyone can use them, for example in Pi-hole, AdGuard Home or Blocky. One file per category in plain domain, hosts and adblock formats, updated automatically every 6 hours.

Family lock

Set a PIN so categories and settings can't be changed without it. If our servers can't be reached, the phone follows the fallback you chose: a basic family filter, no internet for up to 12 hours, or unfiltered.

Parental control with EZOBLOCKER

Does it make your phone faster? Yes, we measured it.

An ad that is blocked is not downloaded: ad images, videos and tracking scripts on our lists do not reach your phone. Pages open with fewer pieces, the processor and memory are not busy drawing ads, and your data goes only to what you opened. In apps and games, the ad networks on our lists cannot be reached either, so no ads download from them.

  • 27%less data
  • 36%less processor time
  • 47%shorter load time

Across 460 websites from 23 countries we tested on a Redmi Note 12, median per site.

We found 5,725 phishing sites

Between September 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 we scanned public certificate logs. The most common traps were fake crypto wallets, social media and banks. No user data was used.

The app registers your device anonymously. No email, no sign-up to start.

  • Encrypted lookups

DNS over HTTPS between your phone and our servers.

  • Only DNS

Pages, videos and messages load directly. They do not pass through our servers.

Questions people ask

Is EZOBLOCKER a VPN?

No. It uses the phone's VPN setting only to send DNS lookups to our servers. It doesn't hide your IP address or change your location, and your other traffic doesn't pass through us.

Does it block YouTube ads?

No. Video ads inside video apps come from the same address as the videos, so DNS can't block them without blocking the videos too. Ads on websites and in many apps that load from ad servers on our lists are blocked.

Will it make my phone faster?

Where we tested, yes. On a Redmi Note 12, across 460 websites, pages downloaded a median 27% less data and loaded in 47% less time. Only the small DNS lookup goes to our servers; pages and videos load directly from their own servers. Method and raw data are on the speed test page.

Can I block or allow a site myself?

Yes. With My list you can block or allow any domain, on top of the categories.

Do you see which sites I visit?

Lookups are checked against the lists and then forgotten. We keep no DNS query logs, and the Blocked screen lives only on your phone.
